GENERAL TERMS OF SALE
TERMS AND GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE
Siamese Wonders offers tailor-made trips in Thailand, including excursions, activities, transfers, and accommodations (excluding international flights). These general terms of sale establish the contractual relationships between the receiving agency Siamese Wonders and the Client. Any request for the creation and organization of a trip entails the unconditional acceptance of these General Conditions by the buyer, which prevail over any other document. Siamese Wonders is a professional company in the Thai tourism sector, specialized in designing tailor-made trips in Thailand. It is registered with the Tourism Authority of Thailand under license number 43/01084. The General Terms of Sale are subject to Thai law.
REGISTRATION & CONTRACT
To submit a request for a personalized program, simply contact the agency through the website by filling out the contact form or sending an email. Following the Client's initial request, Siamese Wonders will collect the necessary information to prepare a quote, either by phone or by email. The rates mentioned in the quotes are valid for 7 days from their submission to the Client. Beyond this period, rates and availability will be updated. Registration for a trip will be confirmed as soon as the Agency receives from the Client: the correctly completed registration form and a deposit covering the reservation costs of everything that must be booked immediately to ensure the good realisation of the trip, which cannot exceed 70% of the total amount of the validated quote (see payment terms below). Acceptance of the quote is equivalent to acceptance of a contract between Siamese Wonders and the Client. Therefore, accepting a trip (based on payment of the deposit as indicated in the quote) also implies acceptance of the General Terms of Sale.
For validation more than 45 days before the departure date, a deposit covering the reservation costs of everything that must be reserved immediately to ensure the smooth running of the trip, which cannot exceed 70% of the total amount of the validated quote will be required. This deposit is non-refundable, regardless of the reason. The deposit must be paid promptly so that the agency can book services as soon as possible. Availability of drivers, guides, and hotels may be very limited during certain periods. If registration is made within 45 days of the departure date, full payment of the trip amount must be made to confirm the trip. Prices are calculated in the local currency, the Thai Baht. If the trip is paid in Euros, the amount will depend on the exchange rate in effect on the day of booking, and the amount in Thai Baht must correspond to the amount indicated on the registration form. The displayed rate does not include possible transfer or credit card payment fees, which are the responsibility of the customer.
1. BEFORE THE TRIP
Any cancellation request must be made in writing to the following email address: contact[at]siamese-wonders.com with the Word ''Cancellation'' in the subject. No other form of communication will be accepted. Once the cancellation is accepted by Siamese Wonders, a document justifying the clients' decision to cancel the trip must be returned to the agency signed within 24 hours. Any preparation or organization of a trip incurs internal costs for the agency. In case of cancellation by the Client, fees may be applied depending on the date when the Agency is informed, as follows:
more than 45 days: no fees, but the deposit paid is non-refundable
between 45 and 30 days: 50% of the trip price charged
less than 30 days: 100% of the trip price charged
no-show: 100% of the trip price charged
Reservations for plane tickets, train tickets, and boat tickets will not be refundable once Siamese Wonders has purchased the transport tickets, which are neither changeable nor exchangeable. If one or more travelers registered for the same trip cancel their participation while the trip is maintained for other participants, Siamese Wonders reserves the right to adjust rates based on the updated number of participants.
2. DURING THE TRIP
Any interrupted, modified, shortened, or unused travel or service not used by the participant, for any reason, will not lead to a refund or compensation by the Agency. Any modification made by the participant involving a change of service (hotel, transport, etc.) or program (duration of the stay, stages, etc.) will be billed. In case of cancellation or non-attendance at a planned activity, no refund will be made.
3. IN CASE OF FORCE MAJEURE
In case of force majeure, the agency cannot be held responsible for the non-performance or improper performance of the contract. Indeed, if unforeseeable events such as a flight delay, international health crisis, natural or technological disaster, civil war, quarantine, coup, strike, criminal or terrorist attack, pandemic disrupt the country's operation, Siamese Wonders will be exempt from any responsibility, and no refund can be made. In the event of cancellation by the client due to force majeure, Siamese Wonders is not obligated to refund the amounts paid.
